Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Cworc GmbH (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use Index Intelligence (the “Service”).
1. Controller
The controller is Cworc GmbH, Hubertusweg 47, 14552 Michendorf, Germany. Contact: remzi.aru@shlau.com.
2. Data we process
Account data from our authentication provider (name, email, user identifier).
Project data you submit: domains, sitemap URLs, and Google Search Console authorisation tokens we store encrypted.
Technical logs: IP address, user agent, timestamps, and security events, retained only as long as needed to operate and secure the Service.
3. Purposes and legal bases
To provide the Service (contract): account, projects, scans, and GSC synchronisation.
To secure the Service (legitimate interest): abuse prevention and audit logs.
Where required, consent — for example optional marketing email. You may withdraw consent at any time.
4. Processors and transfers
We use subprocessors such as our hosting, database, queue, and authentication providers. Google processes Search Console data under your Google account terms when you connect a property.
If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
We keep account and project data while your account is active. You may request deletion. Backups expire on a rolling schedule. Legal obligations may require longer retention of billing or security records.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. EU/EEA residents may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact remzi.aru@shlau.com.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication, locale, and theme. We do not use advertising cookies on the marketing site.
